1. She had a lisp as a child

Like any good actor, Sandra used her own personal experiences to help shape her character, Mary Horowitz in All About Steve, by giving her a lisp. "I had a lisp when I was younger, so I thought she should have a lisp and be around people who were OK with it. Obviously, I wasn't, and went to speech therapy for it. I wish I'd been like her and not worried about what people thought."

2. She used to be a bartender

Before she helped Keanu Reeves stop a bus from blowing up, Sandra took some odd jobs to get by as a struggling actress in New York. She had stints as a cleaning woman, a coat check girl, a waitress, and a bartender. "I learned a lot of accents as a bartender," she once said. "A lot of girls came in looking for rich husbands. I learned to imitate them."
