10 Items to Spring-ify Your Wardrobe
Get ready to ditch those boots and put some instant spring into your step!
-Jenny Beres

If you’re anything like me you are so over winter coats, thick sweater tights and the overbearing feel of winter. Unfortunately Mother Nature and mother fashion are not always on the same climate schedule and though all of her fashionistas are ready to move on to warm weather looks-we still have a few snowfalls to smile and scrape through. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t update your wardrobe immediately. Most of these styles can carry you through ‘til spring, especially when paired with your favorite jacket or jeans.
1. Floral Print Dress
My absolute favorite spring update, perfect with tights and a bright cardigan. Alice + Olivia Cabella silk floral print dress ($297, bloomingdales.com)

2. Two Trends In One
When we find an item that melds two trends together, without looking like an art school disaster, we rejoice louder than a Friday on a three day weekend. These nautical stripes and lace look hot topped with a blazer and skinny jeans. Quotation red haute striped top with lace applique. ($78, bloomingdales.com)

3. Pointed Ballet Slipper
Ballet flats aren’t going anywhere this season. They make a feminine pairing with other seasonal trends such as the floral dress and dressy shorts. But when it’s still freezing and you need a touch of spring, try them with jeans, or cigarette pants. Don’t be shy, go for the ones with bling! Pointed-toe ballet flats ($39.90, express.com)

4. Bright Satchel
Nothing beats the winter blues like a well-placed splash of arm candy. Elliott Lucca Olivia satchel ($178, elliottlucca.com)

5. Bold Patent Belt
Bright and wide these belts will add a layer of fun sophistication to any outfit. This one we love for its cool green color- and for lending a “cinch” to any waist. Besides, how could anything Burberry not brighten up your day? Burberry Prorsum patent leather waist belt. ($495, net-a-porter.com)
