Let’s have a show of hands – how many of you yelled “What the (bleep)” when every media outlet under the sun swore that Chelsea Handler was diddling 50 Cent?

Mean Betty knew that their alleged romance either had to be a publicity stunt or a joke, and she was right!

“Everyone, calm down,” Chelsea tweeted on the morning of the 7th. “I met with Mr. Cent about a potential project. There’s nothing to report yet, ill let you know if there is.”

No word yet as to what this venture entails, but Miss. Handler is currently working on a half-hour comedy series for E! called After Lately, so perhaps the bulletproof rapper will join her crew?

1. Jersey Girl

Like fellow comedians Jon Stewart and Lou Costello, Chelsea was born in good ol’ New Jersey.

"We lived in this nice Jewish neighborhood. Everyone had Mercedeses and Jaguars, and I was going to school in a Pinto,” she told W magazine.

Well, now she can drive to the Jersey Shore in a fully loaded Lexus with built-in flat-screens (so her A-lister pals can watch reruns of Chelsea’s Girls Behaving Badly on the drive down).
