One of the best perks about being a celebrity is having the cash to indulge in all your wildest fantasies, especially when it comes to planning a wedding. From exotic destinations and extravagant menus to designer dresses and A-list entertainment, nothing is off limits and everything is possible for famous brides and grooms willing to spend big bucks. Although some of these marriages didn’t stand the test of time, these couples sure knew how to show their friends and family an exceptionally good time!

10. Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren: $1.5 million
The golf pro Tiger Woods celebrated his marriage to Swedish model Elin Nordegren at a beach resort in Barbados in 2004 with fireworks and music provided by Hootie and the Blowfish. To ensure their privacy and that of their guests, Tiger rented out the entire 200-room Sand Lane Beach Resort for the party, which carried a hefty $1.5 million price tag.

9. Elton John and David Furnish: $1.5 million
Elton John and David Furnish weren’t just celebrating their own wedding — their two-day December 2005 party, which cost $1.5 million, also marked the legalization of same-sex unions in Britain. More than 600 guests attended the reception at the singer’s mansion, which included $120,000 worth of vintage pink champagne.
