As ’30 Rock’ returns for a new season, we look back at some of the funniest scenes on the hit show

Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski… what’s not to love about 30 Rock? It was difficult to narrow it down to just 10 funny moments on the hit show that returns to NBC tonight, but we gave it our best shot. Read on and let us know if you agree.

10. Jack plays poker with Kenneth. What starts as a simple act of Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) wanting to bond with his employees turns into a blood match with Kenneth the Page (Jack McBrayer). In it, Emmy award-winner Alec does a pretty spookily dead-on Hannibal Lecter impression (more on those impressions of Alec’s in a bit).

9. The birthday party. Jenna (Jane Krakowski) is going to marry a prince who is horribly deformed and has more than a passing resemblance to Paul Reubens. Perhaps the single best example of what a complete and total mess Jenna is, which is one of the reasons why we love her so.
