To celebrate Earth Month, this article is the first in a series of six eco-friendly pieces that will be running in BettyConfidential.

Going green never looked so good. Even celebs like Gisele Bundchen are getting into the act!

Burts Bee’s has the best stuff. The lip balms are fantastic. I love that they don’t test on animals and they are definitely earth friendly. One thing I discovered at Whole Foods and it’s at Walgreens as well. It’s really nice and organic. It’s called Avalon Organics Skin Nourishing antioxidant intensive Vitamin C sun aging defense Vitality Serum, and then the Avalon Organics Vitamin C Rejuvinating oil-free moisturizer. Wow, smells fantastic and so smooth and silky. All vegetarian ingredients, no animals testing and Paraben free. It smells like you’re putting oranges on your face. The serum alone is great! The moisturizer is really nice. And of course the best part is it’s earth friendly and ORGANIC. Since I’m a vegetarian, that means a great deal. You must try it. I believe for both products it cost a total of $38.00. That’s not bad considering how much even the Olay Rx costs! I believe that is about $75.00 or higher for the kit from Walgreens. I love Walgreens. So many fun products to try out. Burts Bees is there as well. Organic products, beauty and food, will hopefully go down in prices because they are very expensive at Whole Foods. I could spend the day at Whole Foods and feel like I was at Disney World. They have so many great things, but their downfall is it’s waaayyy too expensive. A great healthy grocery is Trader Joes and the prices are much better and that’s where I shop for my organic food. They have a great selection, not as much as Whole Foods, but they’ve still got wonderful products!! Love the place. I love that they sell flowers and plants as well because I’m a huge lover of the outdoors and gardens, plants, you name it. Great place!! When Whole Foods has a sale, that’s when I run over there!
