I'll admit it: I'm a commitment-phobe at heart - at least when it comes to fragrance. Of course I have a few staples in my scent wardrobe (the ones I keep going back to) like Allure by Chanel, Creed's Milliseme Imperial and Fracas, but one of the occupational hazards of this job is being introduced to countless new scents each year.

You know how when you break up with a boyfriend you go through a wild phase and find yourself experimenting with different types that you wouldn't normally go for? Well, I'm fooling around with a lot of scents these days, and I'll admit I love not being in a serious relationship.

My latest fling: Stiletto Musk by Sula. The brainchild of perfumer Suzanne Lang, whose offerings include "Couture" fragrances custom-made for you and the "Layers" line that's designed to be mixed and matched, the Sula scents are meant to be fun and flirty while maintaining a sense of sophistication. At first spritz Stiletto Musk reminded me of Angel (which use to hold a place on my vanity until my now-husband nixed it) thanks to its vanilla bean and patchouli notes, but those eventually dissipated to leave a warm, soft musky scent behind. I'm hooked - for now - and with such a friendly price point and not-too-big bottle, I can be onto my next Sula scent in no time. $32, ulta.com
