He Lies Incessantly

Dear ASK REAL GUYS: My husband has a "guy's night out" during the week. He says he'll come home at one hour but actually comes home way later and is always drunk. Why does he lie so much?

Steven: Who knows why he is lying, but the drinking and not keeping his word are major issues that should not be overlooked. The longer this goes on the more you are training and conditioning him that this behavior is OK. Have an open conversation and be clear about what is negotiable and what is not negotiable. If you do not take any kind of action to fix this, expect it to get worse and brace yourself for the bad, downward ride. Take a stand for yourself and the relationship, please understand that you deserve so much better.
