Take this quiz to see if you can afford a baby
-Mary Beth Sammons
Before you throw away your birth-control pills and get carried away with visions of being the next Brangelina, you may want to consider the fact that babies these days cost more than ever before. Experts warn that you prospective mamas and dads need to bank between $5,000 and $10,000 just for the first year of childcare, health insurance and diapers. And that doesn't include $249 for your BabyBjorn Travel Crib and outfitting your little angels in environmentally sound clothing (Angie's faves include bamboo coveralls, at $30 a pop). Clothes and accessories aside, by the time your newborn reaches his 18th birthday, he'll have cost you around $204,000.
