Four tips for choosing an online dating photo

1. Use something recent. Photos of a younger you might be cuter, but not truthful.
   
2. Consider the background. An unmade bed or messy kitchen doesn't make a good backdrop.
   
3. Appear as you are. If you wear glasses, wear them! If you never wear make-up, don't clump it on. Be the real you.
   
4. No men. Even if he's an ex boyfriend or a brother, a picture of another man is not going to draw in a new one. Crop him out!
